Care for Friends
Care for Friends tackles Chicago’s food, housing, and healthcare crises through an all-inclusive, no questions asked approach that provides easy access to critical resources. Care for Friends offers hot meals and a food pantry every Monday and Saturday. Additional services include a screening clinic, substance use education clinic, clothing closet, and a monthly foot care clinic. Their work has never been more vital—especially as cuts to SNAP and other assistance programs threaten access to basic needs.
Vision To Learn
Vision to Learn provides vision screenings, eye exams, and glasses to kids at schools in low-income communities, all at no cost to children or their families. Donations help provide children across the country the glasses they need to succeed in school and in life. During 2025, the lives of over a half a million children were changed by something as simple, yet so powerful, as the ability to see clearly. These children’s worlds changed simply by being able to finally see the board in class, a book in their hands, and the path to their future.
