Patrick represents clients in complex litigation and regulatory matters, drawing on experience across the federal judiciary and government service. He has advised on sensitive regulatory and enforcement matters and has extensive experience conducting legal research, drafting dispositive motions and orders, and analyzing high-stakes legal questions at both the trial and appellate levels.

Before entering private practice, Patrick served as a judicial law clerk at the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, where he assisted in all aspects of federal district court litigation. He previously served as Assistant Regional Counsel with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, representing the agency in administrative litigation and advising on regulatory enforcement, employment, FOIA, and Federal Tort Claims Act matters. Earlier in his career, Patrick worked as a Staff Attorney for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, where he assisted judges on appeals involving civil rights, criminal, habeas corpus, and employment law issues. During law school, he represented clients through the University of Chicago Law School Immigrants’ Rights Clinic and externed for the Supreme Court of Hawai‘i.
