Promotion recognizes Kalli’s trial experience, client advocacy, and contributions to GLG’s growth
Goodman Law Group | Chicago (GLG) is pleased to announce that Kalli Nies has been promoted to Partner. Kalli was recruited to GLG seven years ago at the firm’s founding, in part because of her broad experience successfully taking cases to trial. Since then, she has been a key member of the firm, focusing her practice on complex commercial litigation and insurance coverage disputes.
Kalli represents policyholders in high-stakes insurance coverage matters, drawing on experience on both sides of insurance disputes to develop strategic approaches tailored to her clients’ needs. Her commercial litigation practice encompasses a broad range of business disputes, and she has first-chaired more than 10 trials to verdict.
“Kalli has been an integral part of GLG since the beginning, and this promotion reflects her outstanding work for our clients and her contributions to the growth of the firm,” said David B. Kalli’s promotion comes at a time of continued growth and marketplace recognition for GLG’s insurance coverage and commercial litigation practices. Her work has earned recognition from Chambers & Partners, which named her an “Up and Coming” practitioner in the Insurance: Dispute Resolution: Policyholder category for Illinois in its 2026 USA guide.
