This role is a natural extension of my double major in political science and communication and a great stepping stone as I look ahead to eventually attending law school.”
In her role as Project Administrator, Maya is heavily involved in GLG’s day-to-day operations, providing essential support to ensure the firm operates as efficiently and effectively as possible. Our team relies on Maya for assistance with scheduling, document preparation, file organization, maintaining the docket calendar, trial preparation, event planning and coordination, vendor relations, and PR/marketing efforts, among other responsibilities.
Before joining GLG, Maya earned a bachelor’s degree in political science and communication from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where she was a member of Pi Sigma Alpha the National Political Science Honor Society, Lambda Pi Eta the National Communication Association’s Honor Society, Phi Alpha Delta Pre-Law Fraternity, and Women’s Undergraduate Law Society. She also served as an intern for Women In Engineering, the college-wide success program at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign’s Grainger College of Engineering, and TurnUp Activism, the nation’s largest youth-led voter registration and turnout initiative.
