Josh has litigated hundreds of federal and state cases in Illinois and throughout the United States. He has handled a wide range of matters including breach of contract claims, products liability, rideshare litigation, hospital property tax exemptions, commercial lease disputes, Freedom of Information Act claims, and Section 1983 litigation.
Josh has argued dispositive motions, conducted written discovery, and taken depositions, all with precision and strategic finesse to move his cases forward toward client success. He has served as lead counsel in trials and argued before state and federal courts, including the Illinois Supreme Court. His work has included high-profile cases such as a matter in which he obtained a first-in-history trial over national security classified records. He has given interviews and talks, has been quoted in local and national news, and has hosted a front-page Reddit “Ask Me Anything” thread. His collaborative skills and extensive litigation experience make him an invaluable member of the GLG team.
Before joining GLG, Josh practiced at Loevy & Loevy and Neal Gerber & Eisenberg. While in law school, he served as a law clerk at the US Department of Justice, Office of Immigration Litigation – Appellate Section, the University of Chicago’s Civil Rights and Police Accountability Clinic, and the Illinois Torture Inquiry and Relief Commission.
