Friends of JCC Krakow is a nonprofit organization dedicated to sustaining the financial future of the Jewish Community Centre of Krakow (JCC Krakow), which focuses on rebuilding Jewish life in Krakow, Poland. In 1940, the world turned its back on the terror inflicted by the Nazis on European Jews and dissidents, resulting in horrific suffering. Today, in addition to its many efforts, the JCC Krakow invests resources to protect refugees fleeing the terror inflicted by Russia in Ukraine at its border. The center was opened in April 2008 by His Majesty King Charles III and now serves as the focal point for the resurgence of Jewish life in Krakow. Located in the heart of the city’s former Jewish district of Kazimierz, JCC Krakow provides the growing Jewish community with a space to meet, learn, and share ideas in a warm, welcoming environment.
